WE ARE THE OXFORD BELLES: OXFORD UNIVERSITY'S ORIGINAL ALL-FEMALE AND NON-BINARY A CAPPELLA GROUP

The Oxford Belles are known for our big voices, big personalities and even bigger empowerment anthems.

Established in 1995 to combat Oxford’s male-dominated music scene, the Belles have spread our message of female empowerment all over the world - and right here in Oxford. Whether we’re singing the American national anthem at Madison Square Garden or giving intimate gigs for local charities, we bring our trademark enthusiasm, professionalism and sass to every performance.

Our top moments in recent years include performing at COP26, working with NBC to promote the release of Pitch Perfect 3 and releasing our viral video, Girls Just Want to Have Fundamental Rights (noticed by Cyndi Lauper herself!). On the 28th May we dropped our latest charity single, raising money for Inspiring Girls International. We'll also be bringing another riotous hour of feminist anthems to the Edinburgh Fringe this August with our brand new show, Aca-ting Out

As our new Presidents lead us into 2023, the future of Belles looks bright.
