What a fantastic month of March the Oxford Belles have had. From wedding performances, lots of rehearsals to their killer end of term gig, it has been a busy month for the group. To end March on a high, The Belles were honoured to be invited to perform at the opening of the Bodleian Libraries, 'Sappho to Suffrage - Women who dared' exhibition. The opening not only featured a performance by the Belles but talks from the first female VC of the University of Oxford, Louise Richardson, and curator of the exhibition, Senia Paseta, who said "When women work alone, they can make an impact. When women work together, they can change the world.". The exhibition runs until 3rd February 2019, marking 100 years since the Representation of the People Act and celebrates the achievements of women who dared to do the unexpected. A fabulous night, for a fabulous cause. Thank you to Bodleian Libraries, for allowing us to be a part of this.
With many more exciting endeavours planned for April, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for major announcements from the Belles coming this month!
